This is true. However it’s curious to see how Linden Labs (successfully) dodge the real reason why many are playing it. In reality, the big appeal of Second life is because of all the sex. To me it’s nothing less than a Cyber Sex Massively Multiplayer Online Game (CXMMOG). Linden Labs is an interesting company because they seem to be perfectly fine with that. The beauty in this is in its simplicity. This is not exactly a novel idea. The difference is in the price. It’s finally cheap enough for anyone to get. Today. Okay, $600 is a lot of money but that price will shrink with time, as adoption increases.
The best part is that this will work with existing DirectX-compatible games. This means that everything is fair game, even japanese sex games!
